I am an associate professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Haifa, Israel. I specialize in Netherlandish art of the early modern period and 17th-century Dutch genre painting in particular. My research focuses on a group of genre painters of merry companies and guardroom scenes. Please find below a gallery with a sample of their works.
